Hi, I'm Carly —
I'm a quality consultant with years of hands-on experience working in and around CQC-registered care homes. I've sat in the inspections, written the action plans, supported the teams, and navigated the paperwork — so I know first-hand how relentless the pressure can feel.
Quality in Your Corner exists because I believe every care home deserves access to practical, honest support — not just when things go wrong, but as an ongoing part of running a safe, well-led service.
I work directly with owners and registered managers, rolling my sleeves up alongside you rather than handing you a report and walking away. You're in safe hands with our expert support, having been in the health and social care sector for over 17 years I have worked in various roles including Registered Manager, multi site Registered Manager, Regional Director and Quality Improvment and Regulation Manager. I also have a degree in Health and Social care, specilising in leadership and managment and hold a recognised training qualification. Despite all of this experince, the most valuble of all is where it all started, as a support worker, learning just how impactful good quality care can be for real people. Behind everything I do is a true passion for the residents needing support, quality should never be something that is comprimised on. Why I Started This Business
I started Quality in Your Corner because I kept seeing the same thing: dedicated managers doing their absolute best, but feeling isolated, overwhelmed, and unsure where to turn when CQC came knocking — or when they knew things needed to improve but didn't know where to start. I also dont believe that quality support should be exclusive to large companies, a driving force was to be able to offer this same level of oversight, at a fraction of the cost, your internal, external quality provider.
Big consultancy firms can feel impersonal and expensive. I wanted to offer something different — a real person, with real experience, who genuinely cares about your home. Someone who's in your corner.
This business is built on the belief that quality care starts with supported, confident leadership. When managers feel equipped and backed up, the whole service benefits — and ultimately, so do the people living there.

My background spans frontline care, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance — giving me a rounded view of what good looks like at every level.
- Extensive experience in CQC-regulated health and social care settings
- In-depth knowledge of the CQC Single Assessment Framework and Key Question ratings
- Proven track record supporting services to achieve and maintain Good and Outstanding ratings
- Experience leading mock inspections, audits, and quality improvement programmes
- Background in leadership and management support for registered managers
- Skilled in translating regulatory requirements into practical, workable action
